On the evening of October 29, 2021, the College of Materials Science and Engineering of Taiyuan University of Technology invited Mr. Xingfeng Zhang from the apartment management center to hold a lecture on student safety knowledge in Room 201, Yifu Building, Yingxi Campus. All 2021 graduate students have participated.
Mr. Xingfeng Zhang from the apartment management center explained the safety knowledge to the students from six aspects, including accommodation safety, fire safety, anti-theft safety, and food safety. The students took the stage to show the best protective posture when the elevator falls, and demonstrate the correct use of dry powder fire extinguishers on the spot, so that all freshmen have an intuitive and profound understanding of safety knowledge.
Through this safety knowledge lecture, all freshmen have mastered the skills and ability to prevent and deal with safety problems, improved safety awareness, and laid a solid foundation for future study and life. The College of Materials Science and Engineering will take this event as an opportunity to carry out various safety publicity and education work on a regular basis, continuously strengthen the safety prevention capabilities of teachers and students, and build a safe and harmonious campus.
